Image formats

These are the formats you should use for your images in guestoo

Here you can find our recommendations regarding the image formats that should be used in guestoo.

Event image

The event image can be changed in the "Info" tab of your event. (Documentation)

 

It should meet the following requirements:

  • File format: PNG, JPG
  • Size: Longest side at least 2000px
  • Aspect ratio:
    • Event microsite & Emails: The image won't be cut
    • Apple Wallet Ticket: The image will be cropped to a square
    • Eintrittskarte: The image will be cropped to a square (as a fallback, in case you don't upload another image under Design > Ticket Design)
  • DPI: 72
  • Color: RGB

 

The event image is used in the following places:

  • Event microsite
  • Emails
  • Apple Wallet ticket
  • Ticket (as a fallback, in case there is no other image set under Design > Ticket Design)

Background image

The background image can be changed in the "Design" tab of your event. (Documentation)

 

It should meet the following requirements:

  • File format: JPG
  • Size: Longest side at least 2000px
  • Aspect ratio: ideally 15:10 (will be adjusted automatically)
  • DPI: 72
  • Color: RGB

 

The event image is used in the following places:

  • Event microsite
  • Payment page
  • Survey page

Ticket images

The background image can be changed in the "Design" tab of your event. (Documentation)

Depending on which ticket template you've chosen, you can either upload just a header image or also an additional image for the advertising space.

 

The images should meet the following requirements:

Header image
  • File format: JPG
  • Size:
    • Template "Classic": 2000 px x 2000 px, Fallback: Event image
    • Template "Ticket as a name badge (DIN A6)": 2000 px x 730px, Fallback: Organizer logo
    • Template "Ticket as a name badge with vCard": 2000px x 730px, Fallback: Organizer logo
    • Template "Modern": 2000px x 730px, Fallback: Empty space
  • DPI: 72
  • Color: RGB
Advertising space
  • File format: JPG
  • Size:
    • Template "Classic": 2000 px x 400 px
    • Template "Ticket as a name badge (DIN A6)": no advertising space available
    • Template "Ticket as a name badge with vCard": no advertising space available
    • Template "Modern": 2000px x 400px
  • DPI: 72
  • Color: RGB

 

The ticket images will only be used on the tickets!
