Take-down procedure in guestoo

According to Article 16 of the Digital Services Act (hereinafter referred to as the DSA), as a hosting service provider, we are required to establish a procedure through which individuals or entities can report to us the presence of information that they consider to be illegal content on our systems.

Since we host guestoo and, consequently, your event page, we are required to provide a link here titled “Report illegal content to the hosting provider.”

We have implemented this as follows:

The link at the end of the note opens the reporting form.

The reporting form

In the screenshot, you can see the structure of the reporting form. Depending on which option is selected, different information will be requested.
If the report is submitted via the link on the event page or through the “About” section of the event page, all relevant information (event, agency, etc.) will be automatically recorded.

Reporting procedure

When a report is submitted, it is logged in our system. The system handles the documentation and triggers the appropriate emails.

The process for a report is as follows:

  • A confirmation of submission is sent to the submitter (including the time of receipt)
  • An email will be sent to you, as the agency owner, containing details about the report (depending on the option selected during the reporting process, this may or may not include the reporter's contact information)
  • You have 7 days to review the notification, respond, and provide us with feedback
    In order to provide feedback, simply reply to the email our system sent you
  • Your feedback will be recorded
  • A response will be sent to the person who submitted the report
  • The report is being closed
